Welcome to 2024. A year of countless opportunities for new beginnings, connections and discoveries. Start the year right with four events that all foster both health and connection in one! We’re bringing back the Paws and Peaks dog walk, starting a beginners’ salsa night, hosting the Barcelona Health Fair and continuing with the monthly nutrition seminar. 


Barcelona Health Fair Sunday 14th January 10:00-17:00

Explore Locally Based Health Brands and Professionals

We’re so excited to announce that we will be hosting The 'Barcelona Health Fair'. A Sunday of health and wellness exploration! This exciting event brings together good food, music, vibes and amazing offers from Barcelona’s health-conscious brands and professionals.


A Hint of What To Expect:

-Learn about local wellness services such as nutrition, physio, breathwork and more

Beginners’ Salsa Rueda Friday 19th January 19:00-20:30 

A night of music, night and stepping on feet 

Get ready to mix up your steps, potentially step on a few feet, and share some hearty laughter at our lively Beginners' Salsa Rueda Event! A fantastic opportunity to learn the basics of salsa in an interactive, group-oriented experience that encourages partner swapping, making everyone feel at ease.


This is a 3-part 1.5 hour event

1. The Warm-Up:  Receive guidance on mastering the fundamental steps to the infectious beats

2. Basic Rueda Group: Learn the steps as one. A dynamic and synchronised dance performed in a circle. As partners rotate, we'll step on some toes and have a laugh.

3. Dance the night away: Have the opportunity to freely dance on your own or with others and practice your newly acquired skills.


For our class members, this event counts as one of your monthly classes. Otherwise, it's €15. To reserve your place make sure to book here. 


Barcelona Paws and Peaks Sunday 21st January 12:00

Sunday Dog Hike 

Dog owners and dog lovers!!! This is the social event to go to. Come explore the great Catalonia outdoors with like-minded dog lovers and furry friends. 


We’ll be heading to Tibidabo for about a leisurely 10-12 km walk for a rejuvenating Sunday afternoon in the beautiful nature that surrounds our city. We’ll be meeting at 12pm at Peu del Funicular station  and going from there on the carretela de las Aiguas and up towards Tibidabo and of course back down and finish at Penitents metro.

Monthly Nutrition Seminar Tuesday 30th January 20:00-21:30

The Fundamentals of Nutritional Health

The last Tuesday of every month we continue to share nutritional guidance and advice with our Monthly Nutrition Seminar. A lot is to be covered even starting at the basics, so once again Teo will give us a rundown on the macros and answer our key questions. 


To us, knowledge is power and knowing more about what you fuel your body with is one of the most important powers to have. This is why our nutrition seminar is FREE. Make sure to reserve your spot however as we have limited space available!

Our events are intended to foster connection and expand our healthy initiatives outside of the traditional gym space. We invite both Attika Members and people living with us here in the city. If you have any questions about our upcoming events then do not hesitate to email us at [email protected]. InBody measurements are an accurate body composition reading tool to help us see your quantifiable progress of your personal goals you and your trainer have defined together.

We will be able to track:
  • Analysis of body composition – muscle, body fat, water retention
  • Comparison analysis for upper/lower body and left/right side balance
  • Setting specific health goals
  • Tracking and comparing your progress with previous measurements

At Attika our priority is your health. We have met plenty of people with six packs that are totally miserable and unhealthy. Having a six pack can be a side effect of healthy habits and of course we can help you to get there, if you wish to do so. However, our priority is creating healthy mindset and habits towards becoming a better human, feeling good in your own skin, and having energy to keep going. The looks are a bonus 🙂
