Where You Are is Where You Need to Be

“I can’t believe I’ve let myself get to this point.”

“I should have started sooner.”

“I used to be fitter.”

There is something we hear often at ATTIKA.

These comments come from frustration and guilt. As if ´past´ you, failed you. 

At ATTIKA every journey is unique. Every path leads us to and keeps us walking along different roads. 

This means that: Where you are… is exactly where you need to be. 

We know. It’s hard to hear this if its not where you planned to be.

But life led you here. And acceptance of that is the first step. 

 

When You Have Time Ahead of You. There is No Such Thing As “Behind”

Life is complicated. We’re sure it’s been happening. 

Demanding responsibilities, stress… 

New countries. 

New relationships. 

You became a parent.

You went through loss.

You lost your spark.

Priorities may have been different. 

And your health took a backseat. 

But all decisions come from your situation, your priorities, responsibilities, and experiences. 

You could wish some things had happened differently, judge yourself for where you stand now… but none of that will move you forward.

Because if we all judged ourselves for where we started, none of us would ever begin.

Like at 30 years old wishing you had started playing piano at 20, then reaching 40 with a dream you could have been 10 years deep by now. 

 

The only place you should be. Is exactly where you are. 

At ATTIKA, when someone comes in for their Bespoke Fitness Blueprint, we are not sitting there thinking about where they should be.

We are not comparing them to someone else their age, gender, or size. 

We are not asking why they are not stronger, leaner, fitter, more flexible, or further ahead.

Because everyone arrives with a completely different story.

Different bodies.

Different stresses.

Different injuries.

Different experiences with movement.

Different relationships with food.

Different confidence levels.

Different reasons for finally deciding, “Okay… now is the time.”

The only “normal” starting point is that you all decided to take action. To take care of yourself better. 

Your starting point is the only one that matters.

We can’t support someone on where we imagine where they would be. We want to know where you are.

 

The Question Is Not “Why Am I Here?”

The question is:

“Where do we go from here?”

That is where change begins.

Not in shame.

Not in guilt.

Not in punishment.

But in curiosity.

In compassion.

In honesty.

Maybe right now your body feels tired.

Maybe you feel disconnected from movement.

Maybe you feel nervous to begin.

Maybe you feel stronger than ever but want to take things to another level.

All of that is okay.

Because where you are is simply information.

It helps us understand the next step.

And the next.

And the next.

 

Showing Up Is Where You Need To Be

You do not need to have it all figured out before you begin.

You do not need to feel confident.

You do not need the perfect routine.

Or the perfect motivation.

Or to suddenly become “that healthy person.”

You simply need to start showing up for yourself.

Because that, in itself, is where you need to be.

The moment you decide:

“I matter enough to try.”

That is the beginning.

Not perfection.

Not certainty.

Just the willingness to take one step.

And maybe, right now, reading this is your step.

Because yesterday does not define you.

And neither does your starting point.

What matters is where we go from here.

InBody measurements are an accurate body composition reading tool to help us see your quantifiable progress of your personal goals you and your trainer have defined together.

We will be able to track:
  • Analysis of body composition – muscle, body fat, water retention
  • Comparison analysis for upper/lower body and left/right side balance
  • Setting specific health goals
  • Tracking and comparing your progress with previous measurements

At Attika our priority is your health. We have met plenty of people with six packs that are totally miserable and unhealthy. Having a six pack can be a side effect of healthy habits and of course we can help you to get there, if you wish to do so. However, our priority is creating healthy mindset and habits towards becoming a better human, feeling good in your own skin, and having energy to keep going. The looks are a bonus 🙂
